Rougie Block of Goose Foie Gras, 5.1-Ounce Tin
100% homogenized goose foie gras. Refrigerate before opening can. Warm-up blade of knife with hot water. Cut-out 1/3 inch slices. Display on center of plate. Add ground pepper to taste. Serve chilled but not ice cold with or on French bread or brioche. Do not spread on bread to fully enjoy the rich texture and taste. Serve with late harvest wine. Ideal for a party of 3 or 4.

This was a delicious treat. It can be served as a spread, but the French eat it with knife and fork. The order came in two tins and the only drawback was that to open the tins an old-style key with a slot was needed Rougie Block of Goose Foie Gras 5.1 oz (I wonder how many remember those!) which were not included in the packaging. I did manage to open the tins with a hand can opener. If you're not a PETA follower, you will enjoy this.
